An analog camera for your iPhone. 24 shots per roll. Photos develop at midnight.
Roll-24 is a slow-photography app that mimics the feel of a 24-exposure film camera. You get 24 shots per roll, choose a filter before each shot, and your photos stay hidden until they develop at midnight, just like dropping film off at a lab. Pin your favorites to the corkboard, or unlock premium filters in the Shop.
Roll-24 photos automatically develop at midnight (00:00) local time. Open the Develop screen after midnight to see your finished roll. In a hurry? Tap the develop button 5 times to start an instant countdown and develop the roll early.
That's the point. Roll-24 recreates the discipline of analog film: 24 frames per roll forces you to slow down, compose, and make each shot count. Need more? You can buy 8 extra shots (32 total) in the Shop for $0.99.
The free version includes the Standard and Black & White filters. Premium unlocks the Gold200 and Tokyo filters (one-time purchase, $3.99). Other Shop items include 32 extra shots ($0.99) and the Archive expansion ($1.99). All purchases are one-time — no subscriptions.
If you reinstall the app or switch devices, tap Restore Purchases in either the Shop or Settings screen. Make sure you're signed into the same Apple ID you used for the original purchase.
Open Roll-24, go to Settings, and find the Delete Account button at the bottom. Press and hold for 1.5 seconds to confirm. This permanently deletes your account, photos, and purchase history from our servers.
Check that notifications are enabled: iOS Settings → Notifications → Roll-24. Make sure Allow Notifications is on, and that Banners, Sounds, and Badges are enabled if you want all three.
Roll-24 needs camera permission to take photos. Open iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Camera → Roll-24 and toggle it on. Then relaunch the app.
Roll-24 uses Sign In with Apple as the only sign-in method. If you can't sign in, first check your internet connection. If it still fails, sign out of iCloud (iOS Settings → [Your Name] → Sign Out) and sign back in, then try again. Make sure two-factor authentication is enabled on your Apple ID.
Photos sync over the internet. Check that you have a working Wi-Fi or cellular connection, and that iOS Settings → Cellular → Roll-24 is enabled if you're on mobile data. Force-quit the app and reopen it to retry the upload.
